The Reward For The Patience Of The Mother Who Suffers A Miscarriage

عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ‏ وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ إِنَّ السِّقْطَ لَيَجُرُّ أُمَّهُ بِسَرَرِهِ إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ إِذَا احْتَسَبَتْهُ

Muʿādh Ibn Jabal (Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (salallāhu ‘alaihi wasallam) said:

“By the One in whose Hand is my soul, the miscarried foetus will pull his mother by his umbilical cord into Paradise, if she patiently anticipated the reward for her loss.”

A Muslim suffices with the promise of Allah found in these comforting words of His Prophet (salallāhu ‘alaihi wasallam).
