Our Shaikh, al-Imām, al-ʿAllāmah, al-Muhaddith, Rabīʿ ibn Hādī ʿUmayr al-Madkhalī (died 1447 AH, Allāh’s mercy be upon him) stated in his book, Hukm al-Mudhāharāt (p. 33):
“It is obligatory upon the scholars and the wise people to preserve the blessing of Islām and Tawhīd in the Land of the two sacred cities [of Makkah and Madinah], and to preserve the blessings of security and stability.
“And to respect the government of Tawhīd and the Sunnah (in Saudi Arabia), which has been distinguished above all the countries of the world by its adherence to the Book, the Sunnah and Tawhīd. It established its schools and mosques, and judges its affairs according to the Book of Allāh, the Sunnah of His Messenger and the methodology of the Righteous Salaf.
“We ask Allāh to continue this blessing upon us, to establish this land’s government and people firmly upon this methodology, and to avert all evil from everyone.”
