The Rise of Western Liberalism, Wokeist Doctrine and Radical Feminism―and Their Evil Effects on Women, the Family and Society (Updated)

All praise and thanks are due to Allah, the Lord and Creator of all the worlds who has blessed us with Islam, the Religion for all of mankind – and He, the Mighty and Majestic, closed all the pathways to Paradise except by this one path, and that is the Straight Path (as-Sirāt al-Mustaqeem), the Steadfast Path, the Path of the Prophets and Messengers, from the first of them to the last.

إِنَّ ٱلدِّينَ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْإِسْلَـٰمُ ۗ

“Truly, the religion with Allah is Islam.” (Aali ʿImrān: 19)

And those who reject it after hearing its message and the message of its Prophet, Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) will be punished by Allah because the excuses are cut off once the truth and guidance is conveyed to him. Allah (the Most High) warns the deniers:

قُل لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا سَتُغْلَبُونَ وَتُحْشَرُونَ إِلَىٰ جَهَنَّمَ ۚ وَبِئْسَ ٱلْمِهَادُ ١٢

“Say to those who have disbelieved, ‘You will be overcome and gathered together for Hell, and wretched is the resting place.’” (Aali ʿImrān: 12) 

That is because, on that frightening Day, no religion will be accepted except Islam―it is the only Religion that calls man to submit himself to the Will of Allah, in His worship alone and in His devoted obedience. Allah stated:

وَمَن يَبْتَغِ غَيْرَ ٱلْإِسْلَـٰمِ دِينًا فَلَن يُقْبَلَ مِنْهُ وَهُوَ فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ مِنَ ٱلْخَـٰسِرِينَ ٨٥

“And whoever desires other than Islām as religion ― never will it be accepted from him, and he, in the Hereafter, will be among the losers.” (Aali ʿImrān: 85) Allah calls upon the People of the Book (the Christians and Jews) to join the people of Islam and single out the One Lord and Almighty God in worship:

 قُلْ يَـٰٓأَهْلَ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ تَعَالَوْا۟ إِلَىٰ كَلِمَةٍۢ سَوَآءٍۭ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكُمْ أَلَّا نَعْبُدَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهَ وَلَا نُشْرِكَ بِهِۦ شَيْـًۭٔا وَلَا يَتَّخِذَ بَعْضُنَا بَعْضًا أَرْبَابًۭا مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ فَإِن تَوَلَّوْا۟ فَقُولُوا۟ ٱشْهَدُوا۟ بِأَنَّا مُسْلِمُونَ ٦٤

“Say: O People of the Scripture! Come to an agreement between us and you: that we shall worship none but Allah, and that we shall ascribe no partner unto Him, and that none of us shall take others for lords beside Allah. And if they turn away, then say: Bear witness that we are those who have surrendered unto Him.” (Aali ʿImrān: 64) The name Allah refers to the Lord and Creator, the only God worthy of worship. 

Today, various forms of religion and religiosity exist, including traditional ones like Islam, Judaism and Christianity. Additionally, there are numerous ideologies today that resemble religion, with dedicated followers who espouse their beliefs. These ideologies propound theories, laws, practices, and even rituals, such as Satanism, Wokeism, Liberalism, neo-Marxism, Western Socialism, Radical Feminism, the Big Bang Theory, and Evolutionary Darwinism.

Many of these groups and group identities intersect with each other sharing values, beliefs, and political aims that can be easily depicted in a tightly-knit Venn diagram. Wokeism is presently the dominant ideology in the West that brings together varied political orientations and group identities through which they exert significant societal influence, and they seem to ‘shout’ with a voice that seeks to silence all opposition.

The Sound Intellect Proves the Existence of our Lord and Creator (Allāh).

All of the created beings from the first of them to the last of them must have a Creator that brought them into existence—and it is not possible that these created things brought themselves into existence, and it is not possible that they came into existence by chance, randomly.

It is impossible for a soul to create itself because a thing cannot create itself—before its existence, it was absent and non-existent, so how can something that does not exist (and is not there) create itself?! Furthermore, it is not possible for a being to come into existence by chance or coincidence out of nowhere! That is because every occurrence must have for it someone that causes its occurrence—everything that exists must have a creator that brought it into existence.

The existence of the universe and the whole of creation in such an unprecedented and original manner—its harmony, arrangement, order, and coordination—the coherence between the causes and their effects and outcomes—and that which takes place between the bodies and beings within the universe all prohibits any thought (however remote) that they took place through random chance occurrences—of elements clashing against each other over millions of years! Furthermore, if that was the case, then who brought those elements into existence for them to be clashing in the first place?!

And that which occurs randomly by chance is not organised, coordinated, and ordered from the outset of its coming into existence—then how can it possibly be organised and ordered in its subsequent random and unguided state of existence?!

Therefore, it is not possible that the universe created itself—that is non-sensical—and it is impossible that it came about by chance to become this mighty and ordered universe—because that opposes sound intellect and requires believing in fantasies, and the abandonment of reason and rationale. So, the only reasonable conclusion is that the universe has an originator, creator, and maker (moojid) and He is Allāh, the Lord of the worlds, the sole Deity worthy of worship.

Allah mentioned this intellectual proof and indisputable evidence in His Book where He (the Most High) said:

أَمْ خُلِقُوا مِنْ غَيْرِ شَىْءٍ أَمْ هُمُ ٱلْخَـٰلِقُونَ ٣٥

“Were they created by nothing? Or were they themselves the creators?” (At-Tūr 52:35) Meaning they did not come into being without a creator, nor did they create themselves—so from this, it is proven that they have a creator, and He is Allah (the Mighty and Majestic). When Jubayr Ibn Muṭʿim (may Allah be pleased with him) heard the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) reciting the verses:

أَمْ خُلِقُوا مِنْ غَيْرِ شَىْءٍ أَمْ هُمُ ٱلْخَـٰلِقُونَ ٣٥
أَمْ خَلَقُوا ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ ۚ بَل لَّا يُوقِنُونَ ٣٦
أَمْ عِندَهُمْ خَزَآئِنُ رَبِّكَ أَمْ هُمُ ٱلْمُصَيْطِرُونَ ٣٧

“Were they created by nothing? Or were they themselves the creators? Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Nay, but they are sure of nothing! Or are with them the treasures of your Lord? Or are they the tyrants with the authority to do as they like?” (At-Tūr 52:35-37)

Jubayr heard these verses being recited when he was a pagan, and he later recalled: “My heart nearly flew out of my chest—and that was the first time that Faith (Imān) settled in my heart.” (Reported by al-Bukhārī).

And we can provide an example to further clarify this point:

If a person was to come and talk to you about a lofty palace surrounded by gardens with rivers flowing between them—and the palace was furnished with thrones and couches, beautified with various kinds of furnishing, drapes and ornaments. So, then this person informs you: “This splendid palace, its manicured gardens, its thrones and furnishings came into existence by themselves.” Or he informs you: “It came about randomly, by chance without a maker, falling into place with this ordered perfection.” You would immediately reject it and disbelieve his statement—you would consider his speech to be nonsense and insane.

So, after this, is it allowed for anyone to claim (by way of reason or rationale) that this vast universe with its earth, sky, planets, sun and stars and their states of perfect orbit and motion in an amazingly organised system of order all came about randomly, by chance or accident without an all-knowing, all-powerful, mighty creator and maker?! That is why Allah says to those who propound these false notions: “Nay, but they are sure of nothing!” (At-Tūr 52:36)

As for the believers, they are sure and certain, just as Allah has said:

ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْكِتَـٰبُ لَا رَيْبَ ۛ فِيهِ ۛ هُدًى لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ ٢
ٱلَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱلْغَيْبِ وَيُقِيمُونَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَمِمَّا رَزَقْنَـٰهُمْ يُنفِقُونَ ٣
وَٱلَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ وَمَآ أُنزِلَ مِن قَبْلِكَ وَبِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ هُمْ يُوقِنُونَ ٤

“This is the Book (Qurān) about which there is no doubt, a guidance for the pious, those conscious of Allāh. Who believe in the unseen, establish prayer, and spend out of what We have provided for them. Those who believe in what has been revealed to you, O Muḥammad, and what was revealed before you, and of the Hereafter they are certain [in faith].” (al-Baqarah 2:2-4)

So, What is Woke Ideology?

Wokeism refers to a political and cultural movement that emphasizes awareness and activism surrounding social and political injustices. Wokeism has gained prominence in recent years, particularly within social media platforms and youth activism. It focuses on issues such as race, gender, sexuality, class, climate change, etc., aiming to convert people (especially young people) to Wokeism through raising awareness of these multiple causes and struggles, challenging power structures, and advocating for social change. It is a miserable ideology that teaches young people that humanity as a whole is malevolent and corrupt, and that there is no Creator Lord and God who sent Prophets with Revelation and guidance. 

They hit out hard against what they call ‘the patriarchy’. Patriarchy refers to a social system in which men hold primary power and dominance over women. It is a hierarchical structure that has been prevalent in many societies throughout history. So, patriarchy everywhere is the enemy that must be rooted out.

Every person with any semblance of intellect knows undeniably that men are physically stronger than women, more suited to heavy labour and fighting wars, and they can endure extreme situations that women would find near impossible. Men have greater muscle mass, bone density and endurance than women. So, in societies over thousands of years of human history, and right through the industrial (and technological) revolution of the past 250 years, men have typically occupied positions of authority, and women have by in large been under the care and protection of men. In all civilised societies, men have cared for, maintained and protected women from other men who have sought to take advantage of them, sexually abuse them, enslave them and use them. 

Responsible male authority operates at various levels: in the family, the community, and within larger societal institutions such as the army, police, etc. It manifests in different ways as cultural norms, natural laws, and customs that give authority to men while maintaining the rights and opportunities of women―and for good reason since men are expected to maintain, shelter and protect their women and families. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:

كُلُّكُمْ رَاعٍ، وَكُلُّكُمْ مَسْؤولٌ عَنْ رَعِيَّتِهِ، فَالأَمِيرُ رَاعٍ وَهُوَ مَسْؤُولٌ، وَالرَّجُلُ رَاعٍ عَلَى أَهْلِهِ وَهُوَ مَسْؤُولٌ، وَالْمَرْأَةُ رَاعِيَةٌ عَلَى بَيْتِ زَوْجِهَا وَهِيَ مَسْؤُولَةٌ، أَلاَ وَكُلُّكُمْ رَاعٍ، وَكُلُّكُمْ مَسْؤُولٌ عَنْ رَعِيَّتِهِ‏.‏

“All of you are shepherds and each of you is responsible for his flock. The ruler is the shepherd and is held responsible. The man is the shepherd over the people of his household and he is held responsible. A woman is the shepherdess of the house of her husband and she is held responsible. Each of you is a shepherd and each is responsible for his flock.” (Al-Adab al-Mufrad, no. 212, graded saheeh by Al-Albāni) And Allah said in His Book:

ٱلرِّجَالُ قَوَّٰمُونَ عَلَى ٱلنِّسَآءِ بِمَا فَضَّلَ ٱللَّهُ بَعْضَهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍۢ وَبِمَآ أَنفَقُوا مِنْ أَمْوَٰلِهِمْ ۚ فَٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتُ قَـٰنِتَـٰتٌ حَـٰفِظَـٰتٌ لِّلْغَيْبِ بِمَا حَفِظَ ٱللَّهُ ۚ

“Men are in charge of women as their maintainers and protectors by right of what Allāh has given one over the other and because of what the men spend for maintenance from their wealth. So righteous women are devoutly obedient, guarding in the husband’s absence what Allāh would have them guard…” (An-Nisā: 23)

I have heard Wokeist online social justice warriors who ascribe themselves to Islam claim that these narrations are being taken out of context by Muslim men! These are people who know nothing of Islam, or the Shareeʿah, or any of the sciences of the religion and have never studied the foundations of Islam. Furthermore, they have no ability to speak about the intent of the Lord of the Worlds.

Wokeists cry out that traditional patriarchal structures perpetuate old gender roles and expectations where men are expected to be assertive, strong, and independent, while women are often expected to be submissive, nurturing, and focused on domestic responsibilities. But the fact is that this order is natural and has kept human societies in a state of relative balance and order. Wokeists claim that patriarchy is not a system that all men benefit from equally as it can also create rigid expectations and pressures for men to conform to traditional gender roles (i.e., stops them from identifying as women!). Therefore, a prime objective of Wokeism is the dismantling of patriarchies (i.e., male authority and strength and their sense of manliness) that have been present throughout all of human history. So, it is no wonder that radical feminism is the common thread that runs through all Wokeist activists.

Warped Equality

So, Feminism seeks to eliminate the differences between the sexes under the often-repeated Wokeist and LGBTQ+ mantra that ‘gender is a social construct’. This belief maintains that gender (male/female) is not determined by biology but rather shaped by cultural, social, and environmental factors. It also implies that there is a range of gender identities beyond just male and female, and individuals may identify as non-binary, genderqueer, genderfluid, or transgender, among others. 

To understand this mentality, we need to explore the reasoning or insanity behind it. Postmodern social constructionists challenge essentialist notions that assume fixed, inherent meanings or qualities in categories such as gender, race, and identity. They argue that these categories are constructed through language and discourse and are subject to change over time. With this in hand, these Wokeist radical neo-Marxists claim that each of the following categories operate independently of each other and should be treated as such:

1. Biological Sex:
This is what a person is born as, i.e., male or female. A male baby has defined male physical features and a female baby has defined female physical features. For this reason, the midwife or doctor will say to the mother, “You’ve given birth to a boy,” or “You’ve given birth to a girl”. And this has been the method of determination of sex/gender throughout the history of mankind.

2. Gender:
Traditionally and throughout human history, gender was defined by your biological sex. However, postmodern social constructionists came along with their neo-Marxist, Wokeist co-religionists and preached that “Gender is fluid; it is a spectrum; you can choose to identify as whatever you want or feel”.
So, a biological male can identify as a woman and a biological female can identify as a man, or either one can identify as non-binary (i.e., neither male nor female) and so on across their delusional gender spectrum.
The contemporary understanding of gender as a social and cultural construct separate from biological sex emerged in the mid-20th century and then evolved through subsequent decades with the rise of feminism, loose morals, homosexuality, and the availability of the contraceptive pill and access to free state-funded abortions which led to increased female promiscuity and the “sex without consequences” culture.
To speak with other than this fraudulent ideology, and to warn against it leads to people being “cancelled” on social media platforms and forced out of their jobs, fired, promotions denied and ostracised.

3. Sexual Proclivity or Orientation:
This refers to sexual attraction to individuals of a specific gender or genders. Wokeists believe that these sexual orientations are on a spectrum that includes the following:
(i) The traditional, normal heterosexual (a straight relationship between an adult biological male and an adult biological female).
(ii) Homosexuals: Gay and lesbians.
(iii) Bisexuals: Individuals who are attracted to others of their own sex and the opposite sex.
(iv) Pansexuals: Individuals who are attracted to people regardless of their gender, emphasizing sexual attraction beyond the binary concept of gender!
(v) Asexuals: Individuals who experience little to no sexual attraction to any gender, but may sometimes engage in sexual activity.
(vi) Queer: A term that has been reclaimed by the LGBTQ+ church as an umbrella term for various non-heteronormative sexual orientations and gender identities.
…and the list goes on and on.

4. Gender Expression:
This is the manner in which a person expresses a gender identity, usually through their conduct, behaviour, outward appearance, and dress. So, this could be a biological male who behaves in a feminine manner, puts on a wig, wears women’s underwear and dresses, applies makeup and wears high heels. Or it could be a woman who carries herself like a man, behaving in a masculine manner, wearing men’s clothes and concealing her feminine traits and features.

To treat each of these four independently of each other is one of the biggest frauds perpetrated by the ideologues of Wokeism and their followers. Their warped mentality contradicts the innate disposition (fitrah) of humans, the intellect, the Revealed Books, reality and the history of human experience. Let me explain why:

• Biological males grow up to be boys and men; they are (almost) entirely heterosexual (i.e., sexually attracted to biological females); they (almost as a whole) behave in a masculine manner displaying manly traits while avoiding feminine traits; and they wear the clothing traditionally worn by men. 
• Biological females grow up to be girls and women; they are (almost) entirely heterosexual (i.e., sexually attracted to biological males); they (almost as a whole) behave in a feminine manner displaying feminine traits avoiding butch and masculine traits; and they wear clothing traditionally worn by women.

This simple, self-evident experience of human history proves that biological sex, gender, sexual orientation and gender expression are almost entirely binary: male (boy, man, masculine, heterosexual) and female (girl, woman, feminine, heterosexual). It is only at the very extremes of human behaviour―due to social conditioning, the prevalence of immorality, and the normalising of unnatural/abnormal behaviours such as homosexuality―that you will find any departure from these norms in humanity.

What I have clarified has been the norm for hundreds and thousands of years which shows that these traits are hardwired into the sexes (in the core of their very being) and are not social constructs forced on society by an oppressive patriarchy!

The Intersex Bandwagon

This refers to anomalies and abnormalities within humanity where an organism has physical characteristics intermediate between a true male and a true female of its species. The condition usually results from extra chromosomes or a hormonal abnormality during embryological development. [2] So, a baby is born with male and female biological characteristics. The true prevalence of intersex is seen to be about only 0.018% of all babies born. [3] This means that 99.982% of all babies born are either biologically male or female. It is truly disingenuous (indeed fraudulent) to claim that humans are biologically a spectrum of sexes due to intersex (or hermaphrodite) babies.

To drive home this idea, Wokeist doctrine states: The terms “gender” and “sex” refer to different aspects of a person’s identity: 

Sex refers to the biological characteristics of an individual, typically categorized as male or female. These biological traits are determined by reproductive organs and people are assigned a sex at birth based on the appearance of their external genitalia. Throughout the sum total of human history (until the last few decades of postmodern constructionist insanity), mankind has only ever classified births as a baby boy or a baby girl by what they saw in the physical features of the newborn child because God showed mankind the way to distinguish between a man and woman (male and female). Upon the birth of Mary (may Allah be pleased with her), Allah stated in His Book:

فَلَمَّا وَضَعَتْهَا قَالَتْ رَبِّ إِنِّى وَضَعْتُهَآ أُنثَىٰ وَٱللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا وَضَعَتْ وَلَيْسَ ٱلذَّكَرُ كَٱلْأُنثَىٰ ۖ

“But when she delivered Mary, her mother said, ‘My Lord, I have delivered a female.’ And Allāh was most knowing of what she delivered, and the male is not like the female.” (Aali ʿImran 3: 36) So, how did the mother of Mary know that she had given birth to a girl? She knew it was a girl distinct from a boy because Allah has made it known to the creation that there is a difference between the two. So, was the mother of Mary a victim of the patriarchy?! Allah’s refuge is sought from the evil-doers who ascribe such madness to our pious predecessors. Furthermore, if a baby was born with obscure, undefined or mixed male and female genitalia, it was seen as an unnatural, abnormal anomaly.

Gender, according to Wokeist doctrine, is a social and cultural construct that encompasses the roles, behaviours, expectations, and identities that societies ascribe to individuals based on their perceived sex. Wokeist belief states that gender goes beyond biology and reflects the ways societies define and understand masculinity, femininity, and various gender roles. So, some individuals identify as the gender they were assigned at birth (which they refer to as cisgender), while others may identify with a gender that differs from the sex they were born with; these people who re-assign themselves are called transgender people.

These are the deceptive ideas that have seeped into Western society and culture to the point that any opposition to this doctrine is considered to be intolerant hate speech that is anti-science, sexist, transphobic, homophobic, fascist and even racist! 

As Muslims, we are commanded to hold fast to our beliefs, ethics and morals regardless of the avalanche of opposition that goes against the Qur’an and Prophetic Sunnah. In a time when Western Christianity has succumbed to these new-age Wokeist zealots, Islam remains the only religion, the only fortress that has stood firm against this madness and it will continue to do so, and remain unharmed by those who oppose it and forsake it, or sell their religion for worldly desires and ambitions.

Wokeism appeals to young people, the poorly educated who can be indoctrinated – who then religiously follow these neo-Marxist, godless Wokeists. So Wokeism has an army of youth who awaken each morning ready to fight ‘the oppressive patriarchy’ and change society. The underlying objective is to challenge and dismantle systems that uphold religion and traditional values. 

Woke activists advocate for greater inclusivity and representation for people who follow their worldview in education, media, and politics―in a nutshell, they want to be the ones making the laws and indoctrinating innocent children in state schools so they can have an endless supply of Wokeists for future generations! They need homosexuals, trans-people, radical feminists, pro-abortionists, and climate change warriors in influential and leading positions in schools, universities, mainstream media, law enforcement, and entertainment. This would enable them to further exert their influence and bring about widespread societal change, and then export that to the rest of the ‘unenlightened world’. And this is what is taking place right now with very little opposition.

Wokeism seeks to stifle any opposition and to police language and behaviour, and much of it has now passed into law. To make it last for generations to come, they must continue to attack and dismantle the traditional family structure and religious values. Most Western governments have already cowered in front of the onslaught; the legacy news media openly supports them, so today you see Wokeism permeating every sphere of life.

They advocate for the acceptance of gender fluidity and individual choice, endorsing sex change surgery as a preferred option for young people who were born in the ‘wrong’ body. They challenge what they see as societal constructs by deeming terms like man, woman, boy, and girl as oppressive and patriarchal. Vigorously championing transgender rights, Wokeism also advocates for state-funded sex-change surgery, chemical ‘castration’ for teenage boys who want to be girls!

Wokeism (which embraces radical feminism) rejects gender-specific roles such as motherhood for women and leadership for men, even asserting that men can menstruate and conceive (i.e., women who identify as men), therefore enforcing the use of terms such as ‘pregnant people’ instead of ‘pregnant women’!

Wokeism normalises homosexual relationships and views sex between same-sex people as natural and normal. It calls women to sexual liberation and considers promiscuity (having numerous sexual partners) as empowering, so it is not unusual today for a woman who reaches the age of 30 to have fornicated with as many as 30 men and to have had a handful of abortions and several morning-after pills. Through this, the traditional marriage between a man and woman has eroded; as is the stay-at-home mother and bread-winning father―they are perceived as components of an oppressive and ancient patriarchy. Wokeism sees abortion as an absolute right under that oft-repeated mantra of ‘my body, my choice’, regardless of the baby’s age in the womb of its mother, up until the time it is due to be delivered. The baby in the womb is nothing more than a clump of cells having no right to life until it comes out of its mother’s womb. 

They fight for the cause of radical feminism and LGBTQ+ insisting that their sexual proclivities be celebrated for a whole month each year in every Western country; which involves the public display of their adopted identities in ‘Pride Street Festivals’ alongside the replacing of national flags with ‘Rainbow Flags’ and insisting that every school in the country focuses on the ‘Pride Month’. Wokeists also believe that climate change is the biggest threat facing humanity; and that black people’s rights can only be defended under the Wokeist, neo-Marxist banner of BLM (Black Lives Matter) and other similar misguided, corrupt organisations.

Wokeism Rejects Religion and God’s Commandments

These ideologues of Wokeism do not believe in a Hereafter wherein they will be judged, nor in a sole Lord and Creator who has sent Prophets and Books calling mankind to His worship and to follow His Laws (though among their ranks you may find some deluded and ignorant Muslims who are flag-wavers for their misguided insane cause). They follow the Darwinian theory of evolution propounding the myth that mankind evolved from apes to humans; and in the self-creation and order of the Universe. It is these ideologies that children are taught wholesale in schools in the West and are propagated by the legacy news media and mainstream political parties in most Western nations.

So, these secularist, atheistic, liberals are following a religion and dogma of their own making without recourse to revelation. They champion the rights of every type of misguidance, immorality and sexual deviation―even genital mutilation of young people in order to alter the body that Allah gave them but outright they will not uphold the rights of Allah and His Religion, completely disregarding His Law while He (the Mighty and Majestic) is their Creator. Allah calls them to worship Him in His saying:

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ ٱعْبُدُوا۟ رَبَّكُمُ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَكُمْ وَٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ ٢١
ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلْأَرْضَ فِرَٰشًۭا وَٱلسَّمَآءَ بِنَآءًۭ وَأَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءًۭ فَأَخْرَجَ بِهِۦ مِنَ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ رِزْقًۭا لَّكُمْ ۖ فَلَا تَجْعَلُوا۟ لِلَّهِ أَندَادًۭا وَأَنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ ٢٢

“O mankind, worship your Lord, who created you and those before you, that you may become righteous and pious. He who made for you the earth a bed spread out and the sky a ceiling and sent down from the sky, rain and brought forth thereby fruits as provision for you. So do not attribute to Allāh equals in worship while you know [that there is nothing similar to Him].” (Al-Baqarah: 21-22)

They talk of human rights, but what are human rights according to them? According to them, human rights are only for the godless ones, open sinners, sexual deviants, criminals, and oppressors who turn away from right-guidance and decency. So, this is the human [whose rights need protecting] according to them—those who are disobedient to Allah, who do not worship Him and deny His very existence. As for the Muslim, the monotheist, worshipper of Allah who fears his Lord and Creator and lives a pious life, does not fornicate, does not drink, does not believe in the false religion of Darwinism, etc., then this is not the human they are referring to who needs protecting. The human right that is most deserving of protection is the man who demands that he be called a woman, who dresses as a woman, who has surgery to have his genitals mutilated and then wishes to enter primary schools dressed as a ‘drag queen’ to indoctrinate children into the LGBTQ+ ideology.

As for believers in God, His Religion and His commandments, those who live moral lives, believe in the importance of the family, and traditional values―in their eyes, Muslims are extremists, backward, and intolerant. Evangelical Wokeist Social Justice Warriors (SJWs) want laws passed against those who stand up against them, and their wicked ideas, and those who uphold religious values. Wokesits demand the forced indoctrination of children in the state school system—and they want religious teachings and morals to be cast to one side. Allah (the Most High) described such people in His Book:

يُرِيدُونَ لِيُطْفِـُٔوا نُورَ ٱللَّهِ بِأَفْوَٰهِهِمْ وَٱللَّهُ مُتِمُّ نُورِهِۦ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ ٱلْكَـٰفِرُونَ ٨

“They intend to extinguish the Light of Allah (i.e., the Religion of Islam) with their mouths. But Allah will bring His Light to perfection even though the disbelievers hate it.” (As-Saf: 8)

They want to extinguish that which cannot be extinguished, because the worship of Allah will remain, the believers will endure, and the Message of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) will be preserved till the descent of Jesus (peace be upon him):

هُوَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَرْسَلَ رَسُولَهُۥ بِٱلْهُدَىٰ وَدِينِ ٱلْحَقِّ لِيُظْهِرَهُۥ عَلَى ٱلدِّينِ كُلِّهِۦ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ ٱلْمُشْرِكُونَ ٩

“He it is Who has sent His Messenger Muhammad with guidance and the religion of truth to make it victorious over the religions even though the pagans hate it.” (As-Saf: 9) And this is why you are seeing so many people in the Western lands entering into Islam with astonishing numbers―because Islam remains the fortress of monotheism, faith and morality without equal. Just look and see how many ‘influencers’ on social media are turning to Islam or praising Islamic values, may Allah guide them to the way of the Salaf which is the true Path of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and his Companions, the Path of Salafiyyah. 

Oppression of Women in the Name of Feminism, Equality and Empowerment

The noble scholar, Shaikh Sālih Al-Fawzan said: “They call to the liberation of women, and what they intend by that is that she leaves her home uncovered, semi-clad and without her hijāb. That she should leave as a sinner, disobedient to Allah, and to her husband and guardian” —i.e., that she focuses on her career rather than marriage, family and raising children; that she goes wherever she pleases and sleeps with whoever she pleases notching up numerous sexual partners. All along, she is told that this is freedom, liberation, and advancement of women’s rights.

By the time she reaches her late 30s, she is unmarried (or divorced), sad, lonely, childless (or her children have abandoned her), she has been used by men and left unwanted… and she only finds fleeting pleasure in the odd one-night stand, purchasing more designer handbags, shoes and possibly the comfort of a pet cat and TV to watch each night before bed. And they call this liberation and freedom! This woman is sad and unfulfilled but has realised too late. 

Many women (in the West), as they grow older, experience feelings of regret about their choice to pursue a career instead of settling down, getting married, and having children. They may feel a sense of longing for the traditional path of family life, where they could have experienced the joys of marriage and parenthood (and becoming a happy grandmother). Younger women may not feel this way because they are indoctrinated from an early age at school, and they encounter societal pressures or personal desires that lead them to seek fun, fashion and the approaches of men rather than marriage; they want to pursue careers, and chase after money rather than settle down and build a family; they want to follow what other young women are doing on YouTube, Tik-Tok and Instagram. The regrets come when it’s too late!

Women were described as fragile vessels by the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him): Al-Barā Ibn Mālik used to sing to drive the camels of the men and Anjashah would sing to drive the camels of the women, and he had a nice voice. So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: “O Anjashah! Be gentle when driving the camels that carry the fragile vessels.” (Al-Adab Al-Mufrad of Al-Bukhāri, no. 1264, declared saheeh by Al-Albānī)

Shaikh Al-Fawzān stated: “Islam, on the other hand, came with respect for the woman, to uphold her rights, to protect her and preserve her honour. The unbelievers [and liberals] come and oppose this. They want to waste her and bring her loss. So that her honour is lost, her manners are lost, her religion is lost and her body is wasted—she becomes a cheap commodity that is traded between the wolves from among the men” who pass her from one to another, and when she reaches old age, and her body is of no desire to them, she is cast into a small dwelling [or a care home] to live lost, tired, without a loving family and left broken―we ask Allah to guide them. She has no one to care for her nor children and grandchildren who are willing to live with her and love her as an honourable woman deserves―ultimately she does not want to be a burden and has nothing to live for, so she opts for euthanasia―and Allah’s aid is sought from reaching such a low point. This is the liberation of women according to their values which they call Muslim women to. Many Muslims have been deceived by this call—and this idea has been carried by some wicked ones in our ranks who have evil intentions towards our Ummah. (See Al-Khutub 5/19-20) But, we already know that women are not like men. 

فَلَمَّا وَضَعَتْهَا قَالَتْ رَبِّ إِنِّى وَضَعْتُهَآ أُنثَىٰ وَٱللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا وَضَعَتْ وَلَيْسَ ٱلذَّكَرُ كَٱلْأُنثَىٰ ۖ

“But when she delivered her, she said, ‘My Lord, I have delivered a female.’ And Allāh was most knowing of what she delivered, and the male is not like the female.” (Aali ʿImran 3: 36)

In Islam, a woman lives an honourable life, protected and secure from harm—she lives as a wife, as a sister, as a member of the family, treated with respect—she is nurturer of the family, a shepherdess over the family home; she is trusted with the wealth and honour of her husband. Allah (the Most High) stated concerning the Muslim woman:

ٱلرِّجَالُ قَوَّٰمُونَ عَلَى ٱلنِّسَآءِ بِمَا فَضَّلَ ٱللَّهُ بَعْضَهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍۢ وَبِمَآ أَنفَقُوا مِنْ أَمْوَٰلِهِمْ ۚ فَٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتُ قَـٰنِتَـٰتٌ حَـٰفِظَـٰتٌ لِّلْغَيْبِ بِمَا حَفِظَ ٱللَّهُ ۚ

“Men are in charge of women as their maintainers and protectors by right of what Allāh has given one over the other and because of what the men spend for maintenance from their wealth. So righteous women are devoutly obedient, guarding in the husband’s absence what Allāh would have them guard…” (An-Nisā: 23)

The irreligious, secular, Wokeist unbelievers do not want this—they want to strip the woman of this respect, this honour and these rights. They want to cast her into the traps of wicked men who use her for their own pleasures in unlawful ways and then discard her.

These feminist, Wokeist, neo-Marxist groups organise conferences and events calling their ideology and devise curriculums at universities promoting this falsehood, so be warned.

Learn Islam, know its values, and be grateful for Allah’s immense blessings upon you. Islam is the only fortress that is still holding out, so remain within its walls. Allah stated:

وَإِن تَصْبِرُوا وَتَتَّقُوا لَا يَضُرُّكُمْ كَيْدُهُمْ شَيْـًٔا ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ مُحِيطٌ ١٢٠

“And if you are patient and fear Allah [and show obedience to Him], their plot will not harm you at all. Indeed, Allāh is encompassing of what they do.” (Aali ʿImrān: 120)

I finish by saying that indeed all praise is for Allah, Lord of the Worlds; and may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon the noble Prophet, his family, his Companions and all who follow him until the Day of Resurrection.
