Question To Imām Ibn Bāz About Women Dancing And Singing.
Is it allowed for a Muslim woman to dance among women only, on occasions of happiness?
Answer: There is no harm in women only dancing among themselves where there is no mixing with men (nor their presence) — then in that situation, there is no problem in dancing. I know of no objection — and likewise normal and traditional songs in praise of the husband or the wife, or the family of the husband and wife; so songs that are not immoral or lewd, or call to wrongdoing or to love of wrongful actions. So yes, there is no problem in all of that [which is lawful].
