Question: Some people say, “It is not correct to busy the general folk with affirmation of the matters of Aqeedah (Belief) such as the Highness of Allaah above the creation (al-‘Uluww) and other such matters”?
Answer: The ‘Aqeedah is the most important of affairs. The Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) was in Mecca for thirteen years, and all of that time was given to the Aqeedah. The Aqeedah is the foundation of the Religion.
