Question: A woman becomes pure from her menstrual bleeding in the daylight hours of Ramadan and continues to eat and drink. What is the ruling on that?
Answer: There is no sin upon her, there is nothing wrong with that. That is because if a woman became pure from her monthly bleeding during the daytime, and took a bath (ghusl), she remains a person who is not fasting – she must [therefore] make up this day after Ramadan (qadā) just like the rest of the days she missed while she was menstruating. However, she must start praying once more after her ghusl.
