Al-Bukhāri reported in his Sahīh (no. 2585):
A’ishah (radiyallāhu ’anhā) narrated that Allah’s Messenger (salallāhu ’alaihi wasallam) used to accept gifts and used to give something in return.
Al-Bukhāri reported in Al-Adab Al-Mufrad (no. 594):
Abu Hurairah (radiyallāhu ānhu) reported that the Prophet (may Allah extol him, bless him and grant him peace), said, “Give gifts and you will love one another.” (Graded hasan by Al-Albānī)
