Is it allowed to use toothpaste in the state of Ihram as it may contain perfume? Shaikh Rabee’ Ibn Hadi al-Madkhali

Question: Is it allowed to use toothpaste in the state of Ihram?

Answer: There are different types of toothpaste. Some of them have perfumed ingredients, they contain perfume. So choose the kinds of toothpaste that do not have perfumes – and Allah knows best – that is because the Prophet (salallāhu ʿalaihi wasallam) prohibited the use of perfumes [for the muhrim male and female].
