What is obligatory upon Muslims concerning the Palestinian cause? The Shaikh, the ʿAllāmah, the Muftī of Saudi Arabia: Sālih al-Fawzān

Question: “May Allāh reward you with goodness. What is your advice to the Muslims in light of the circumstances that Palestine is currently experiencing? And what is the action that Muslims are required to undertake?”

Answer of the Shaikh, the ʿAllāmah, the Muftī of Saudi Arabia: Sālih al-Fawzān (may Allah preserve him):

“The action that Muslims are required to undertake towards their brothers who are oppressed and persecuted in every place—and this is even more pressing in the case of Palestine—is to supplicate to Allāh to grant them victory, to supplicate against their enemies, and to assist them financially by giving donations. This is because they are in need: among them are families, elderly people, children and the poor.

“They should assist them with financial contributions, whilst also supplicating to Allāh on their behalf.”
