A woman made Umrah whilst she was menstruating… what should she do now? (Ibn Bāz)

(Q. 379) A woman made Umrah whilst she was menstruating, she didn’t tell her husband because she was too shy – then she returned to Riyadh. So what is upon her?

Answer: We ask Allah for well-being! Upon her is to return to Makkah and complete her Umrah.

(Q. 380): She is married, and has had sexual relations with her husband since.

Answer: She must complete this Umrah that has now become corrupted. Then she re-enters into Ihram a new time, and then performs an Umrah – and she slaughters a sheep [as expiation].
