Insulin injections while fasting for the one suffering from diabetes?

I suffer from diabetes. Can I take insulin injections whilst fasting?

“There is no problem with you taking the aforementioned injection in the daytime as a medication—and you do not need to make up the fast. However, if you can take it during the night without causing yourself hardship, that is better.”
