A Warning to the Salafis who sit with or listen to the People of Desires―By Shaikh Rabee’ Al-Madkhalī. Some of our younger brothers and sisters fall into watching the videos of Ahlul-Ahwā, those who call to misguidance and opposition to the Sunnah. Beware of following Ahlul-Ahwā on Social Media, reading their articles, listening to them and watching their videos. Read this advice and share it:

“I will mention some examples for you: it happened with Ibn ʿAqeel, also Al-Bayhaqī, Al-Harawī, and to many others throughout the history of Islam. Many were deceived by their own souls, so they would sit with the People of Desires (Ahlul-Ahwā), and they were wasted and lost. So in this principle, there are lessons and plentiful warnings. This befell many of those who used to follow the Salafīs ― but due to their sitting and mixing with the People of Falsehood (Ahlul-Bātil), and reading their books, they fell into confusion and lost their way. So, the advice to them is that you benefit from your brothers and that you benefit, before that, from this tremendous Manhaj that encourages with safety and salvation for yourself. By Allāh! There is nothing like being upon safety.” (Sharhu Usūl As-Sunnah, p. 134)
